Instructions for setting up visibility of old orders in 4Logist

This section describes the functionality of the 4Logist system, which allows administrators to limit the visibility of orders by the time they are created. This setting allows users to focus on up-to-date data without displaying old records.

Operating principle

The functionality provides filtering of displayed orders in the system interface based on the specified time range. Orders created earlier than the deadline will not be visible to any user of the system, including accounts with the highest rights (super-admins). This solution is designed to optimize working with data and improve the performance of the interface with a large amount of historical information.

Activating and configuring the functionality

Enabling and changing the parameters of this functionality is performed by 4Logist technical support.

To activate or change the settings, you must::

  1. Generate a request: Send a request to your email address help@logis.com.
  2. Specify visibility parameters: The request must clearly define the required time period for displaying orders. It should be:
    • Relative period: for example, ‘show orders only for the last 6 months’.
  3. Specify the scope of application: It is important to confirm that all orders created before the specified deadline must be hidden from the interface for all categories of system users, without exception, including super-admins.

Configuration result

After completing the request by technical support:

  • Display Restriction: In the 4Logist interface, only those orders that meet the specified criteria by creation date will be available for viewing.
  • Hiding historical data: Older orders will be completely hidden from the user interface, providing a more focused work environment.
  • They will not be displayed even in the search for a specific order number or date.

Important note

This setting affects only the visibility of data in the 4Logist interface and does not affect the physical deletion of information from the database. All orders are saved in the system, and if necessary, their visibility can be restored or the display period adjusted by contacting technical support.
